Sign-in codes

Every time you sign in, after your password we email you a 6-digit code. You need both to get in.

Why we do this

Passwords get leaked and guessed. With a code sent to your email, someone who has your password still can't sign in unless they can also read your email. It is a simple, strong layer of protection for your money.

How codes work

  • Each code is 6 digits and works once.
  • It expires after 10 minutes.
  • You have 5 attempts to enter it correctly. After that, request a new code.
  • You can request a new code after 60 seconds. Only the newest code works.

The same rules apply to signup, password-reset and withdrawal codes.

Code didn't arrive?

  • Wait a minute: email can take a short while.
  • Check your spam, junk and promotions folders. Marking our email as "not spam" helps future codes arrive.
  • Make sure you are checking the email address registered on your account.
  • After 60 seconds, request a new code.
  • Still nothing? Email bluckcoin@gmail.com from your account address.

Never share your code

Bluckcoin staff will never ask for your code or password, by email, phone or chat. Anyone who asks is trying to take over your account. If you receive a code you didn't request, someone may know your password: change it at Account straight away. See Keeping your account safe.
